Current COVID Update

Due to the rapid spread of the Omicron Covid variant, RIM programs are currently being held online (Zoom) for the safety of our community.

We will be returning to in-person + Zoom (hybrid) meetings after the acute threat of this variant has passed.

Volunteers will continue to prepare the center for a safe reopening. Meanwhile, we look forward to being with you online!

Reopening, COVID Safety, and Vaccination Protocols.

Once we reopen, we will require that community members be fully vaccinated for COVID while attending in-person sessions at RIM. We will not require proof of vaccinations; instead, we have faith in the community's understanding, goodness, and friendship.

We did not make this determination without significant deliberation. We respect everyone's right to choose what is best for themselves and others. Ultimately, we commit to caring for our community as best as we are able. We are devoted to keeping our space as safe as possible.

We understand that no decision is perfect, especially as we meet the changing conditions related to COVID and society. We are continually taking into account the science and trajectory of the virus, the expressed needs of our community, and our shared world.

This policy is ongoing and is continuously being revisited. RIM is a sangha who cares for one another. We are all in this together. We invite all community members to share their thoughts. It's an act of stewardship to share your thoughts on ways to support one another during these challenging times.

Anyone who is not fully vaccinated can still participate in RIM's supportive online sessions. We have made great efforts to create opportunities for deep learning, practice, and community support in our hybrid model.

If this decision does not support you, please know how difficult it was to make. We hope you understand our position and accept our sincere apologies.

We are profoundly grateful to everyone in our beautiful little community. Each of us has given one another so much during these times. We look forward to growing together as we continue to make RIM a true refuge for learning, practice, and friendship.

May we all be safe, supported, well, at peace, and truly happy.
