“Attachment” (Upadana): Attachment refers to the emotional bond or clinging we have to people, objects or experiences. It can lead to suffering because it creates a sense of lack or incompleteness when we are separated from those things to which we are attached. Practicing mindfulness and non-attachment can help to reduce suffering and increase inner peace.
