Concentration refers to the development of a luminous (of clear light) mind which is equanimous and mindful. In the Mahayana tradition there are three forms of Concentration; emptiness, wishlessness and signlessness.
Samadhi refers to the “the strength of concentration” and represents one of the Five Strengths and one of the Seven Factors of Enlightenment.
Concentration is the last of the eight elements of the Noble Eightfold Path.
