Consciousness

Definition :

Consciousness is one of the three overlapping terms used to refer to the mind, the others being 'citta' and 'mannas'. It has been translated by terms such as understanding, knowledge, and intelligence.

Consciousness is one of the Five Aggregates and one of the twelve causes of Dependent Origination.
