"Mind Inclined to Awakening" (Bodhicitta): Mind inclined to awakening refers to the state of mind where one is committed to attaining enlightenment for the benefit of all living beings. It is the aspiration to attain Buddhahood and to lead others to the same. It is considered a key aspect of the bodhisattva path.
