Patience is the ability to endure difficult circumstances. It may involve perseverance in the face of delay; tolerance of provocation without responding in disrespect or anger, especially when faced with long term difficulties. Patience is being able to wait for a long period of time without getting irritated or bored. It's the level of endurance one can have before disrespect.
