About Private Mindfulness Sessions
WHAT ARE PRIVATE MINDFULNESS SESSIONS?
Private Mindfulness Sessions provide personalized support and guidance related to refining your meditation practice, integrating mindfulness into your daily life, and exploring the depth of traditional Dharma teachings.
While dialogue and questions are strongly encouraged in group classes, there may be times when it is difficult to ask personal questions or explore sensitive topics while in a large group setting. Often, a topic may require more time than a group setting can provide.
WHO SHOULD PARTICIPATE?
Private teacher consultations are available to anyone who has been introduced to mindfulness and meditation, and/or has a regular practice, and/or attends one of our weekly offerings.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Private Mindfulness Sessions are held within a supportive and contemplative format. These meetings are not therapy sessions. They do, however, provide an opportunity to speak honestly, sincerely, and intimately about one’s inner and outer life.
These sessions are intended to offer support from the perspective of formal meditation and mindful living.
Private Sessions are intended to support your learning and practice. Please be mindful of your reasons for scheduling.
Upon receiving your private session request, you will be asked to fill out a pre-session form so that we can best support your intentions for the meeting. This form is essential and is required at least three days before your private session.
Private Mindfulness Sessions are 45 minutes long.
