A day of mindfulness retreat is an opportunity to step away from the busyness and distractions of daily life and spend a day focused on cultivating mindfulness and presence. This retreat is suitable for both beginners and experienced practitioners of mindfulness.

The day will begin with a guided meditation to help you settle into the present moment and relax into the intentions for the day, followed by a series of meditation and mindfulness practices, including sitting meditations, walking meditations, and mindful eating. In addition to the structured practices, there will be time for personal reflection and self-care.

At the end of the day, there will be a closing circle to reflect on your experiences and an opportunity to share any insights gained during the retreat.

Overall, the Day of Mindfulness retreat is an opportunity to slow down, tune in to your inner wisdom, and connect with a more profound sense of peace and well-being. It is a chance to nourish your mind, body, and spirit and leave you feeling refreshed and more able to live with greater understanding and care.

Notes About this Retreat:

This Day of Mindfulness retreat is held at Cedar Valley Retreat Center in West Bend, Wisconsin. Lunch, tea, coffee, and snacks will be provided. While the meditation room is equipped with chairs and meditation cushions, we invite you to bring any personal items that may support your relaxation and well-being, such as a journal or a blanket.
