a 4-week Mindfulness course

Foundations of Heartfulness

As we become more mindful, our wisdom matures. When we are more heartful, our kindness and compassion grow.

Just as a bird needs two wings to take flight, wisdom and compassion allow our minds and hearts to become liberated, happy, and healthy.

Traditionally, the above four qualities of Heartfulness are referred to as The Four Immeasurables, because they are immeasurably beneficial to the welfare of our world and ourselves.

Imagine our world filled with more Heartfulness; loving-kindness, compassion, appreciative joy, and peace. Now, imagine these qualities being natural expressions of your heart and mind.

What to Expect:

This 4-week course teaches you how to establish and deepen mindfulness practice in a way that is informed by the four aspects of Heartfulness (i.e., loving-kindness, compassion, altruistic joy, and equanimity).

Enjoy an in-depth exploration into Heartfulness through traditional teachings, authentic meditation practices, and science-informed instructions.

Each class is supported by home contemplations and formal meditations.

You will learn:
  • How to establish and deepen your mindfulness practice.
  • How each of the four aspects of Heartfulness work together to benefit yourself and others.
  • How to establish a skillful meditation practice for developing each of the four qualities of Heartfulness.
  • How to overcome obstacles that hinder the development of Heartfulness.
  • How to meet the joys and challenges of everyday life with wisdom and compassion.

This course is open to anyone who wishes to cultivate a heart-mind inclined toward loving-kindness, compassion, joy, and peace.
