“Love and compassion are necessities, not luxuries. Without them, humanity cannot survive.”

-
Dalai Lama

Overview:

Loving-kindness, traditionally known as metta, is an attitude of altruistic kindness, friendliness, goodwill, and love offered to all living beings without discrimination.

Loving-Kindness is immeasurably beneficial. When we think, speak, and act with a heart of goodwill and love, we offer a much-needed medicine that remedies misunderstanding, ill-will, and harm within ourselves, others, and the world.

During this workshop, you will learn:

  • What Loving-Kindness is, why it's so beneficial, and how to establish a skillful Loving-Kindness practice.
  • How to work with common hindrances to loving-kindness.
  • How to apply Loving-Kindness to yourself, those you care about, challenging people, and the whole world.

This workshop is appropriate for beginners and helps seasoned practitioners deepen their loving-kindness practice.
