When we practice meditation and mindful living, we can choose what nourishes our bodies, hearts, and minds. Join us for a nourishing practice through meditation and mindful eating.
We are nourished by the actual food we consume, as well as our sensory experience, intentions, and awareness itself. Mindful Eating is a practice of being fully present and aware while preparing and consuming food, paying attention to the food and its source, our relationship to the food, and its impact on our well-being. It encompasses being conscious of our intentions, considering sensory experiences, and cultivating an awakened consciousness while consuming food.
This workshop is designed to cultivate presence, connection, and nourishment. Participants will have the opportunity to explore and practice the profound benefits of meditation and the art of mindful eating. There will be periods of guided meditation, noble silence, and shared experience.
Food samples will exclude animal and wheat products. Please get in touch with us before registering if you have any severe food allergies.
