During this four-week course, you will explore the following key aspects of being an Everyday Bodhisattva:
  • Week 1: Cultivating Bodhicitta and the Bodhisattva Vows
    Develop an altruistic intention to attain wakefulness and liberation for the benefit of all beings. Learn about the specific vows and precepts that uphold ethical conduct and cultivate positive qualities of heart, mind, and actions.
  • Week 2: Practicing the Six Perfections and Engaging in Compassionate Activities
    Dive into the six paramitas or perfections and discover their essential role in achieving wakefulness and liberation. Learn how to apply these principles to your daily life to provide physical assistance, emotional support, spiritual guidance, or material aid to others.
  • Week 3: Balancing Daily Life and Spiritual Practice
    Explore practical strategies for integrating spiritual practice into everyday life while managing family, work, and social responsibilities as a lay practitioner.
  • Week 4: Cultivating Mindfulness, Meditation, and the Four Immeasurables
    Deepen your spiritual practice by embracing the importance of formal meditation and mindfulness practices that cultivate the heart and mind of an everyday Bodhisattva. Experience the transformative power of inner stillness, loving-kindness, and mindful awareness as you journey towards awakening.
