Anna Lelko, joining the team at Rooted In Mindfulness (RIM), brings a rich background combining her medical expertise and mindfulness practice. Originally from Warsaw, Poland, and residing in the United States for seventeen years, Anna transitioned from a career in Marketing and Management to the medical field fifteen years ago. Her focus is on helping those in need, especially children with disabilities, reflected in her current role in the oncology department and medical clinic at Aurora Health Care / Integrative Medicine.
Anna is a certified Mindfulness Meditation Teacher, completing a two-year certification program, and a certified Mindfulness Mentor. She has enriched her mindfulness journey under the tutelage of notable teachers like Jack Kornfield, Tara Brach, Lama Surya Das, and Thubten Chodron. In addition, she holds a certification as an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach and has specialized training as a Craniosacral Therapist and a Nationally Certified Licensed Massage Therapist, focusing on pediatrics and infant care.
Her approach to teaching and mentoring is deeply rooted in the belief that every experience offers a teachable moment and that daily life is an opportunity for continuous learning and growth. Anna’s philosophy resonates with the quote, “We are all just walking each other home,” emphasizing the shared journey and collective learning in life.
