Jessica Chapin

Teaching Council Member, Volunteer

Since discovering Rooted in Mindfulness in 2014, Jessica has been a diligent practitioner, student, and supporter. She continues to see the benefits of mindfulness unfold in new ways in her life and relationships, including as a mom of 2 boys. The practice also informs her work as a clinical neuropsychologist working with individuals with dementia and other neurologic conditions.

Jessica resonates with the "see for yourself" nature of Buddhism and the value of seeing what comes up when we remain open and curious. The practice helps her live more connected to her life, remember what's important, and open to greater generosity and compassion. She is inspired to teach by witnessing the value of learning and practicing in a supportive, wise, and caring community and as a way to give back to the RIM community and beyond.
